Kiss the Ground is a highly-acclaimed documentary that explores regenerative agriculture as a solution to the Earth’s climate crisis. It’s a film everyone should see for its message of hope and its common sense approach.
The film will be presented by RePlant Byron, a project of Zero Emissions Byron, for one night only, on Monday 7 December at 7pm.
Free entry BUT bookings are essential!
The screening will be followed by an expert panel led by Damon Gameau of 2040 to discuss regenerative agriculture and food security in Byron Shire.
Kiss the Ground provides on the ground solutions that any farmer anywhere in the world can put into practice and start reaping the benefits. Regenerative agriculture builds healthy soil that draws down and stores carbon, right where it belongs. It offers protection against flood and drought, reduces fire hazards, protects communities. Importantly, it reconnects humanity and nature.
RePlant Byron is a project of Zero Emissions Byron.
With other planting groups and private landholders, the RePlant Byron Alliance aims to reforest a substantial portion of Byron Shire through native tree plantings to restore habitat and to help drawdown carbon.
